Notes - In the Mexican War he served as a corporal in Company G of the
First Regiment, Texas Mounted Volunteers. He was mustered into
federal service on 25 May 1847, received a disability discharge
on 11 Jan 1848, and was mustered out of service on 1 May 1848.
He died in Mexico after drinking from a poisoned well.
