  	WAXAHACHIE - Corrinne "Susie" Bearden was born on June 9, 1913, in Athens, Texas, to Crawford and Maggie Pickle. She went into the arms of Jesus on April 14, 2009, surrounded by family members at the great age of 95 years old. She lived most of her adult life in Longview, Texas and retired from Good Shepherd Hospital. She was a daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was an incredible seamstress, and could make a ball of yarn into a masterpiece in a matter of hours. You could always find her sweeping the leaves on the carport or "piddlin" with her flowers and vegetables. She kept her hands busy always by canning, working jigsaw puzzles or playing cards. She was so well loved and appreciated by her family for the values and standards that she lived by her entire life and creating a loving, Christian home for each of us to live in. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Buck Bearden; two brothers; and one sister. She is survived by son, Charles Bearden and wife Kaye of San Patrico, Texas; daughters, Mary Reid of Little Rock, Arkansas, Nancy Emmel and Judy Brown and husband Charles all of Longview, Texas; grandchildren, Allison Brown of Longview, Texas, Brent Bearden of Canyon Lake, Texas, Kevin Reid of Bedford, Texas, Steven Bearden of San Antonio, Texas; Stephen Brown of Dallas, Texas and Jennifer Emmel Luensmann of Longview, Texas; and nine great-grandchildren.
