  	February 6, 1844 Federal Union DIED, near Blountsville, Jones county, on the 25th ult. Mrs. ASENETH S. MILLER, in the 64th year of her age, widow of the late John J. Miller. Mrs. M. was one of the first settlers of Jones county, and for many years a worthy member of the Baptist Church, which together with a large family of children and acquaintances mourn her departure, She lived respected and died lamented by all who knew her. Her exist was peaceful and happy, having a full assurance of her acceptance with her God.
